Recycling is SUCH a confusing subject. I try so hard to recycle as much as possible, but it's difficult to know what can and can't be recycled. This is not helped by the fact that each local area has its own separate rules on what it's able to recycle.

So I wanted to research it and share my findings with you all to make it as easy as possible for everyone to understand.

As you'll see from the explanations below, it's still not clear-cut, but it goes some way to explaining. I was particularly surprised to learn the 'green dot' meant nothing about whether the material was recyclable or not.
