1. Choose neutral tones
Opting for camel, beige, black or navy loungewear will not only make it look smarter, it will also go with similar tones. Think black joggers with a white tee, black blazer and trainers.
2. Add a stylish coat
Throwing on the right coat or jacket can take your look from the sofa to the street in an instant. Whether it's a trench coat, leather jacket or a sharp black or beige blazer, it will make your outfit more purposeful and less accidental.
3. The right shoes pull it together
As tempting as it is to leave the house in your slippers, trading them in for a pair of box fresh trainers (either plimsolls or the chunkier dad-style ones) or ankle boots can make all the difference.
